Hi Jorm!

Did not update your plugins for a long time. But now i have to say you did a great job. The new version is quite impressive.

But i still have some skinning problems:

1. You use a hardcoded plugin resolution of 720x480. Could you use the resolution of the background instead. I need a resolution of 1024x576 for my widescreen PAL skin.

2. In the FastFind plugin the button height still does not change correctly. Only the rectangle changes the height but the space between the buttons stays the same.

Thank you. I will try to fix the skinning bugs in the next day or so. Thank you for pointing them out.

Hey Jorm, Could you make it so the main menu in Xrecord has focus on it when you go into the plugin instead of the shows in the black box... This is a pet peeve of the wife how she always has to move out of the black box and into the main menu off the get go.

Let me know what you think,

Jorm, which option triggers the download of the posters for the videos. I tried CTRL-O but that didn't work. I think I read something about you changing this to a new button but wasn't sure which one.

Thanks, I'm almost ready to get rid of Meedio.

dubya,

I will try to add an option in the skin for that. My wife is having our second child on tuesday so it might take a week or so. But I will try to add it.

king argyle,
what do you still use meedio for?

A couple of things I use Meedio for still:

1. Ability to integrate other DVD players into GBPVR. I personally still launch and use WinDVD for DVD playback. I could probably use a custom task for this but haven't really tried it.

2. The Play-Mee plugin for Meedio allows me to choose a random Introduction video, as well as letting me specify 3 or 4 random movie trailers to play. Yeah, it's a unique feature, but allows me to simulate a theater like environment in my media room when I want.

I also like the fact that much of the stuff that we currently have to do with GBPVR to create new screens for media display, doesn't have to be done with a plugin, but can be done by just defining new screens, and new menu items.

I also mainly used Meedio because until the most current release, I always had problems getting videos to play without an ActiveX Window popping up. Most current version seems to work fairly well.

GBPVR has already replaced BeyondTV as my primary recording device, and it is close to replacing Meedio.

Perhaps when sub gets to the video playlist we can get the functionality of the "Play-Mee plugin".

This is why I am such a geek... I think the Play-Mee plugin is a cool idea.
