Unable to play recordings on OpenELEC Isengard version

Hello,

I am unable to play recordings after updating my Cubox to OpenELEC 5.95.1. I have also tried their most recent snapshot from May 21st.

Live TV works fine but when I hit a recording it just says "Working" and eventually times out.

Here is a log during an attempt. Anything stand out?

I think I cut that log off a bit to quick - here is a larger log from kodi

I upgraded another box as well (and tried a fresh install instead) and I still have the same problem. Everything else still works fine, including LiveTV. Any ideas?

I personally won't even look at problems like this without the full kodi.log and the backing NextPVR logs.

I will upload them tonight - I was trying to save anyone sifting through huge logs and just giving the relevant bits.

On the NextPVR side which log do you need? the web.log? for me the system appears to be writing 2x2MB files every minute for this log as I have a fair amount of recordings and KODI appears to be refreshing them every couple of minutes

Basically the reason I ask for all the logs is so I don't have explain what I need. For NextPVR logs, zip the folder and let me decide. You are right the web.logs are very spammy so try to get them soon after playback. For Kodi, there is some init stuff at the beginning that is important that snippets never capture.

Hi Martin,

Full set of logs attached. I shutdown everything prior and purged all the old logs out then started up clean and did the test.

Do you convert all your recordings to mp4 and delete the ts file?

Yes - I have for the past 5 years or so. I then run a script to update the npvr DB with the new extension

That could very well be your problem the server expects ts files and tells the client the content type is mpeg-ts. It might work with the x-newa addon with file sharing.
