Can't find Hauppauge 2650 tuner

I have finally decided the time has come to migrate from Windows Media Center to Kodi. In my setup efforts I have run into a wall I can't seem to find a way around. I cannot get NextPVR to see my Hauppauge 2650 tuner.

I have the Happauge WinTV7 software installed and can get it to tune channels. WMC has been playing nicely with the tuner for over a year now and continues to behave well. When I get into the NextPVR settings, the only device I see is IPTV.

I have unloaded and reloaded NextPVR several times. I've run the suggested SoftPVR batch file from the wiki. No luck on either one. Running FilterCheck doesn't show anything beyond the motherboard audio devices.

For those who know more, I have attached the NextPVR logs directory. The zip file also contains the output from FilterCheck.

I would greatly appreciate any insights you guys may have. Thanks in advance!

You probably need to install the HDHomeRun Windows software from https://www.silicondust.com/support/downloads/

The Hauppauge DCR device is a rebadged HDHomeRun, and requires this software.

I've gotten HDHomeRun installed. The Setup program after installing is reporting that it has found 0 HDHomeRun tuners. Clicking cancel out of the discovery dialog, I jumped over to NextPVR where it did find my tuner and the 400 some cable channels that come with the package of 6-8 that actually get watched. When I hit Live TV, I get a black screen, no audio. It appears that there is communication with the tuner as the tuner1 light comes on.

That's normal. It'll only list SiliconDust branded devices.

Reproduce this problem and post your logs and I'll take a looks. Most likely cause is decoders.

Yep, looks like decoders. Make sure you have MPEG2, AC3 and MPEG1 decoders set on the Settings->Decoders screen.
