Show Info / Playback Location

Hi,

When I'm playing back video (e.g. a recorded TV show), I get get NextPVR to show my current playback location on the screen by pressing pause, then play again ... but that's a pain to stop the playback. I have tried Play or OK - neither of which do anything, but I would have expected one (or both of them) to show the playback info / location. Is this possible to configure?

Usually the blue button on remotes, or Alt-B on the keyboard.

I admit, I had checked that out, but under playback I saw the following - and got a bit confused (as the Info button didn't work) ... .
Show info bar and timeline Ctrl-B Info button

I use an USBUIRT as a IR-receiver and HIP as control program, that way I can use ANY ir-remote and map any button to and command

Just an FYI, was checking out other functions ... inside NextPVR the "Recorded TV" and "TV Guide" buttons work great, move to the right sub-areas in NextPVR (cool!). But the Live TV button -> NextPVR crashes ... .

Have others seen this?

What does the log say about the crash?

I'm not aware of anyone else having this issue. Post the logs though, and we'll take a look.

Do you get the same issue just clicking 'Live TV' on the main menu? You should, since they're just doing the same thing.

Unfortunately nothing in the logs - it crashed right out, and I restarted it -> reset the log ... . I will definitely capture it the next time it happens (it's not every time), post them for you!

It was the Live TV button, but I agree - should be the same as the menu.
