Faster Playback?

With the thought and idea of faster playback in the news lately, will NextPVR be implementing a faster playback feature, (with normal pitch audio)?  If not, are there plans to allow an recorded TV shows to be viewed through an external player, like VLC, which does allow faster play speed?

This is a feature I sorely miss since moving from MythTV to NextPVR.

Thank you for the reply.  I've asked and looked into this before.  I was more wondering if the dev has considered adding this feature natively, or allowing external players from within the native app.

I'll keep it in mind faster playback for the updated client.

Allowing external players isn't really practical because it doesn't seem to be possible to make them appear integrated in the way they'd need to be. (ie, making you exit an external player to change channels etc is just ugly)

I would greatly appreciate that Sub.  An internal player that has the ability to adjust the playback speed would be perfect.  Should I post in the wishlist forum?
