Can't watch live TV, only recorded TV

Hi,

I'm new to NextPVR. I have a Ceton InfiniTV 4 tuner, and followed the following instructions to get the Network Recorder plugin working:

I can record TV and it plays back beautifully. However, if I try to use Live TV, it freezes immediately (within a second). I can stop Live TV and watch the buffered file by browsing through the Temp directory, and again, it plays back just fine.

Has anyone dealt with this situation in the past? is there something I may have setup wrong?

I'll let martin field the question as I really know nothing about network recorder, but it is worth noting that the next release of NextPVR will have native Ceton support.

That said, unless martin displays the bit of clairvoyance he's known to have at times, he's probably going to want your logs. As in, reproduce the problem, then .zip and post your entire logs folder.

I wouldn't spent too much time getting logs because of the next version but I suspect the cause is having to use a longer delay in NetworkRecorder.xml. The dll on the wiki might not be current either I posted another here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post490952

That recent thread would also have helped you if you had searched the forum for Ceton
