Hi,

I installed NextPVR, went to settings, scan the channels.

I can watch live TV, but have no sound.

When I go to the decoders section on setup, program freezes. I'm on Windows 10 and videocard driver is up to date.

See screenshot below.

Any idea?

Thanks!

I had the same problem and I bet your logs are the same as here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...or-DVD-tab Do you have two monitors by any chance? I am able to fix the problem by disconnecting one of mine and whatever is hanging is immediately freed up.

Hi,

Well, I don't have two monitors. And I have also tried to disable several codecs, with no success.

Any idea?

Please recreate the problem and zip and attach the logs folder to a post telling us the time that the problem occurred ... the no sound problem or the screen freeze problem or both. Thanks

Hi,

I have included the logs.

As per this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t-DVD-quot I have tried disabling my antivirus and firewall with no success.

Thanks!

It looks like there is a badly behaved / broken decoder on you system. We've seen this 2 or 3 times over the years, but I'm not sure if we've got any got steps to identify the problem decoder and remove it.

Problem solved.

I disabled all 32-bit decoders, then I was able to start N-PVR and choose the appropriate decoders.

Then I re-enabled all 32-bit decoders and everything is up and running.

Thanks!
