Unable to rewind or fast forward

Hello,

I have live TV up and running successfully. I can pause and resume live TV just fine. When I click the rewind or fast forward buttons, the video pauses and the indicator at the top shows 2x, 4x... rewind and fast forward. Clicking play pauses and jumps back to live TV. What am I missing?

I have time shift checked in the NextPVR plugin settings.

Rewind and fast play are almost impossible by http, did you try skipping?

I hadn't tried skipping around. That works.

Now I just have to use keymapper to configure the Harmony remote to do what I want.

Good idea, but i'm not sure how to configure this in kodi 15.1 as it relates to TV, there is a video setting under playback that has 'skip steps' but it doesn't seem to apply to tv, would this need to be a PVR addon thing?

I ended up editing both fullscreen video and fullscreen live tv.

Normally skipping is just left/right arrow in Kodi in full screen video.

Surely it has up/down/left/right

It does. I was mapping the skip forward and backward buttons.
