Sub,

I was looking into why my TV Listings/Recordings plugin was showing almost unreadable small font size with v3.5.7 and I noticed the Global.xml file sets typeface to DriodSans......only problem is the DroidSans font isn't installed on any of my Windows 7 machines.

Should it be?

Nothing has actually changed on that front. This same font has been used pretty much forever in forever in global.xml. It doesn't need to be installed, it'll use the DroidSans.ttf from the same directory.

Is it only the TV Listings/TV Recordings showing this problem, and is it new to 3.5.7?

Yes it's only in the TV Recordings plugin....the button font is minute.....and yes it only started when I upgraded to the 3.5.x betas. (now on 3.5.7 release).

I've checked and the font is in the same directory as the global.xml

I just installed it here, and the fonts look ok from what I can tell.

Can post a screenshot so I see where you mean?

Just noticed TV Recordings.xml uses a font="DefaultVerySmall" definition for many objects but I can't find that font defined anywhere......

My (just installed) TV Listings plugin does not have font="DefaultVerySmall" in it's "TV Recordings.xml". This font also doesn't appear in even old versions of global.xml

Hmmm....ok........could be I made a change to the font a long time ago and now suffering brain fade. When I just now defined that font in the xml file it fixes the problem so I now know where the trouble lies.

I'll re-install the plugin

Thanks....apart from this...3.5.7 looking good :-)
