Rename to mkv extension removes recording listing

If I rename a *.ts file to *.mp4 or *.avi the listing remains in Recordings. If I rename *.ts to *.mkv the listing forever disappears. Wherever |mp4| or |avi| appears in Config.xml, |mkv| also appears. How can I get the database to recognize a rename to .mkv? Should I provide any particular log or config.xml?

Are you sure the name was *exactly* the same other than the file extension becoming .mkv? I just tried here, and it did take .mkv.

The list of these extensions aren't in the config file. If a file is missing, it looks for the file with the alternative extensions ".mpg", ".avi", ".wtv", ".dvr-ms", ".mp4", ".wmv", ".mkv", ".m4v"
