No sound with hauppauge rocket

I am trying to use NextPVR to schedule a recording through the rocket from a cable box. The problem I am having is that I cannot get any audio to play. When I start the input the program tells me that I do not have a decoder selected for ACC. I tried to solve this problem by installing the LAV decoders but even after they are installed and selected I still cannot get sound to play.

If you do a recording, then play it, does it give audio?

When I play back the recording there is sound with the video but when I try to watch the video live there is no sound.

Sub I just changed from a HD PVR2 to a Rocket and had the issue of no sound when using HDMI video & audio inputs.
The channels that I imported from the HD PVR2 worked with no issues at all, but any hdmi channels that I tired to add via the Rocket setting page had no sound. I was curious to see what the difference was between the old and new channel configs, as I couldn't see anything obvious in the logs. So I had a look at database entries and found that a field called "service type" was set to 25 for the new channel entries (no sound) and 4121 on the old working hdmi channels. Changing the new entries to 4121 and fixed the sound issue! I have no idea what you use that field for or why it worked. I am using the new version 42 driver/firmware. Also noted that when setting up the HDPVR2, that if you select HDMI video, the audio automatically goes to hdmi, and it sticks there. When you go to the setting for the Rocket, it keeps trying to select RCA audio inputs everytime you reopen it, even though the HDMI video is selected. Doesnt seem to like the hdmi audio setting. Not sure if that's significant. Cheers.

Do you remember where you went to change this value? Was it a setting for NextPVR, windows, or the rocket itself?

This patch should fix it. You need to delete the channels and recreate them though.

Sorry for the long time between posts. I was in the process of moving back to college. What do I need to do with this file? I tried searching for it in on my computer and replacing the on in the NPVR directory and recreated the channels but I still do not get audio on live tv. I do get audio if I make a recording and watch it as it is recording.
