I'm in the process of preparding another small maintenance release which fixes a couple of bugs. I want to include a fix for the reported 'loss of audio until channel change' that is affecting some people.

If you want this fixed, tell me about the problem here. Include information about your capture hardware.

Is it happening for both PVR150 and PVR250 owners?

Yes, it happens to me (PVR150). Although it's more sporatic than anything, usually I can channel surf for 6 or channels before it goes out.

Yup me 2. I have a PVR350 and 150. If I setup a record on say bbc1 and say bbc2 and then bbc1 again I lose audio on the last record. The 150 is dev1 and the 350 is dev2.

Can anyone confirm the problem occurs on a PVR350 or PVR250? darx, your mixed combination doesn't really tell me this because I cant be sure which device was being used.

I know mikem19 indicates above that it can happen later, but all descriptions I saw up until now indicated it only happend when you first started live tv. When is it occurring for most people?

I only have a vague description of the problem at the moment, and want it to be very clear before I start looking at it.

Ok. I have done some testing and I can confirm that the 1st device to pick up a recording will be the 150. The next will be the 350. I can see that by watching the status app in the systray. The 150 is #1 and the 350 is #2. However I am not dead sure that the problem I have seen is the same as what you are describing. I fiddled with the config and I think I have fixed it by switching from VBR to CBR. I dont think that is the fix but its stopped doing it for now.

Sorry darx, I'm still going to ignore you description, as I cant be 100% sure with multiple devices. The problem I had described also seemed to be related to live tv not recordings.

I want to hear from some more single device PVR150/250/350 users.

I have 2 PVR-150s and I experience the random loss of audio in live TV and in recordings. It is very inconsistent, most of the time it works fine. I don't do a lot of LiveTV viewing but I do a bunch of recording and I would say that 1 in 20 recordings will not have audio. I don't know if this is the information you are looking for but if there is anything else I can do to help i'd be happy to.

Later,
