DVB-c tuning (in Denmark) fails to find channels at 538 to 578 MHz where I should get a number of HD.264-HD channels. I try a HDHomeRun Expand and a Terratec HTC USB device, bot both give the same problem. Most of the time NextPVR doesn't find any channels in that frequency range, but from time to time it does find channels on one of the fequencies, but in that case the channels are detected as MPEG2-SD and not as expected HD.264.
Channels on other frequencies are all found. I can find all channels on all frequencies using other programs.
Logfiles attached. In zip 1 to 3 some channels are found as MPEG2. In zip 4 no channels are found.

Can you download the eval version of TSCapture, from http://www.tscapture.com, and record a 30 second or so full transport stream from one of these frequencies, and make the file available via dropbox / onedrive / google drive. I'll download it and confirm here with a signal generator.

This software is based on NextPVR so will likely also identify the channel as MPEG-2, but that's not a problem. Just pick one of those channels and record the full TS and supply the file - I'll be able to find the reason and fix it.

Thanks. Here are two TS files, one from 570 MHz, and one from 578 MHz.

Not so easy to record with TSCapture when I have to select a channel, and the problem is that I don't get any channels when scanning, but in the end I got the two files recorded :-)

You mentioned that some channels were found as MPEG-2, which is all that would have needed to do a TSCapture.

You're right :-) I had to do a number of scans to get some MPEG-2 channels. Often it doesn't find any channels at all. Anyway, hope you can find the error.

Can you see if this patch helps?

Thanks, but still no joy :-(

Most of the time no channels are detected. Rarely channels are detected, but in that case as MPEG2. So I hate to say, no improvement.

I've made 3 new recordings. First two are from 570 and 578 MHz not working for me. Last file is from 586 MHz where it detects 3 HD.264 channels as expected.

Can you post a npvr.log after scanning with that patch installed?

Thanks for your great effort. Logfiles attached. I start from scratch (logfiles deleted, and all channels deleted from all devices):

First I do a manual scan, 570 MHz, using my Terratec Cinergy device and get no channels.
Then move antenna/signal to my HDHomeRun Expand, do same manual scan, and get no channels.
Then I do a manual scan at 586 MHz, and it detects the 3 expected channels, but only as MPEG2.
Finally, move antenna/signal back to my Terratec device, do same manual scan at 586MHz, and it detects the 3 channels, this time as H.264.

Btw; The image you posted show the channels I expect at 570MHz, but your image show 530Mz?
