NPVR Crashes After ~ 1 minute

I'm having a problem where NPVR crashes after just about a minute of playback. I've used NPVR with and without Kodi in the past without issue - this new problem has appeared after I had to wipe my system and do a clean install of Windows 7. In case it is related, Kodi also isn't recognizing the NPVR is running (starting and stopping the service doesn't help, nor does disabling/re-enabling the add-on or Live TV).

Any suggestions on what I can try to get NPVR back up and running?

What do the logs show? Is this you watching in NextPVR.exe, and that process dies? What message do you get on the screen?

Thanks for the quick response! I'm watching directly in NextPVR.exe. I get a popup message saying something to the effect of "NPVR has stopped responding" or something similar (I'll update the thread with the exact language this evening, but the message is a pretty generic "program has stopped responding" message).

Also, just to clarify - the popup message I'm referring to is a Windows pop-up. NPVR runs perfectly right up until the moment when it crashes.

Also, I haven't sat down to actually time how long it takes before the crash, but it is very consistent. It has never crashed immediately after I have started watching something nor does it ever go on a run where it lasts several minutes without crashing. The crash timing seems to be very consistent (which made me think it might be somehow related to something like the files that are generated in the buffer, but I'd rather not speculate too much since I don't know what I'm talking about :-) ).

If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp file when this happens? If so, please supply it.

Didn't get anything in the C:\temp directory I created. I've also attached a screen cap of the error.

So kodi recognized Npvr for some reason (possibly related to a windows update) and live TV works without issue in kodi. Problem is unchanged in npvr.exe.

There is a new NextPVR release this weekend. Try that next. If it doesn't help, we can dig deeper to try working out what's happening.
