I just installed the latest version of NPVR. When I attempted to start it, I got the exception I've attached and NPVR will not open. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get this working again? I have no idea whether the logs I've attached will be useful or not since I can't open NPVR.

Hmm, that's an odd one.

If you temporarily rename your config.xml file to something like config.xml.original, so that it creates a new one, does it let NextPVR start properly?

Yes, as a matter of fact it does. Now, is there an easy way I can get all my settings back?

If you can post your old config.xml, I'll see if I can spot what's wrong with it. It's almost like all the screens are disabled, so it's having a problem drawing the menu with nothing in it.

Here you go, and thanks. Well, I thought I was going to upload it but the uploader keeps saying it's an invalid file. Can I just copy the xml file and post that?

You'll need to zip it.

Yep - all your screens are disabled.

You can restore your config.xml, and edit it to set those to: enabled="true"
Quote: <MenuLayout>
<MenuItem enabled="false">TV Guide</MenuItem>
<MenuItem enabled="false">Recordings</MenuItem>
<MenuItem enabled="false">Live TV</MenuItem>
<MenuItem enabled="false">Search</MenuItem>

That worked. Can you tell me why I'm getting this window when I try to run my movies (add on), weather and radio items: "object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Can you click the 'details' button on that error popup, and copy the text and post it here?
