NPVR was working fine with version 3.7.7, then it stopped. Tried updating to 3.8.3, still nothing. By nothing I mean no TV, no epg. It still seems to recognise the Hauppauge tuner in the PC. Tried completely removing 3.7.7 and reinstalling 3.8.3 and updating the data base, seen in another thread, didn't help. Deleted the channels it had and tried rescanning Optus D1, its says its scanning 12456, 12483 etc but finds nothing. Am (hopefully) attaching today's logs. Any ideas please.

Does the device still work in the Hauppauge WinTV software? This would show us the device is still capable of sending a good signal...ie dish still pointing the correct direction, LNB/connectors not corroded etc. I've had problems with corrosion and storms in the past which effectively killed my DVB-S setup.

Are these the correct LNB settings? These aren't standard numbers.

Some ramblings -
Also tried LOF1 11300 LOF2 11300 Switch 0 and LOF1 9750 LOF2 10600 Switch 11700. Neither worked.
I removed the Hauppauge software a few months ago as it kept starting by itself and NPVR was definitely working after I removed it.
Suppose the card could have died or maybe some Windows update did something.
The card is in the PC but the LNB is powered by a Wetek Play 2 box we just got, and before that by a normal Freeview box. Don't know if the Wetek could interfere somehow.Just checked the Wetek on the TV and it plays TV fine, so I guess the Dish / LNB is OK.
Also, any ideas for different LOF etc values ?
I guess nothing in the logs says card obviously not working / communicating ?
Will try reinstalling the Hauppauge software if I can find it unless something else might work in the meantime.

If your using WIN10, using Microsoft's default Hauppauge drivers (installed automatically) works great with NPVR without installing the WINTV installation media. As long as you see these guys in your device manager:[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

If it was working in the past with those same settings, then the most likely the dish has moved in high winds, or a bit of corrosion on the cable connectors to the LNB.

You could try removing the splitter temporarily to see.

If those settings were working in the past, they should still be fine.

No errors, but it looked like the card didn't lock onto any signal.

Yep, I'd do that first. ie, tweaking settings in NextPVR isn't gonna help you if the dish has moved etc.

You need to do some simple fault finding to identify in which area the problem lies.

1) Connect a known working receiver to the same dish cable to see if the problem is with the dish.

2) And/Or connect the NextPVR server to a known working dish to see if the problem lies somewhere on on the server

NextPVR Server - HP N54L Microserver, Windows 10 - Storage 2 X 3TB - Tuners DVBSky S952 Twin DVB-S/S2 PCIe, Hauppauge Twin DVB-T2 USB, Telestar Digibit R1 Sat>IP Server.

Tried reinstalling the (latest) Hauppauge software, setting up the tuner and that's basically fixed it. Once that was OK set up the tuner in NPVR and that's also going well. The Hauppauge install updated the Driver to a version released only 5 or 6 weeks ago, maybe for Windows 10 Anniversary ? don't really know, though I would guess that's the most obvious reason.

Guess its a fairly easy fix to you guys - thanks very much for your quick and efficient help.

One thing though, is there an obvious (to you) reason, why the Hauppauge software picked up more channels than NPVR - Am sure (well 99%) the LOF1, LOF2, Switch settings are the same for both but NPVR scanned much quicker and seemed to miss some channels out (e.g. Prime in New Zealand).

Thanks again.

Which satellite did you select in NextPVR? Maybe try "OPTUS D1" instead of "OPTUS D1 FTA".

Another problem. NPVR app still working fine, tv listings and LiveTV all good. In Emby am getting this internal error thing, see https://emby.media/community/index.php?/...t-working/

When I go to http://localhost:8866/guide2.aspx it shows the guide OK, when I go to http://localhost:8866/modern/guide.html the guide is empty.

Under Settings > Clients > Emby Web Server is ticked and the Web Server Port is 8866.

Was wondering if you have any ideas maybe ?
