I know I need to have the file videos.mdb in the gbpvr directory. However in my installation it is not there or any where else on my HDD.

I am running the latest v0.91.9

So the question is which plugin does it get installed with? Or how do I get it?
I've tried searching the forum for a reference to videos.mdb there are countless comments on it but I couldn't find a reference as to how it is created or installed.

Thanks

videos.mdb is not one of the GB-PVR files. Its probably a plugin file, but I'm not sure which one. Have look at http://gbpvr.bladerhq.com, one of the plugins there may have this file for download.

I thought videos.mdb came with V2 of the My Videos plugin

This version is no longer being maintained and has been replaced with V3, which uses mydatabase.mdb instead.

If I search on this, I only get 7 threads listed and three of those have the MyVideos plugin mentioned in the title. I wonder if it is (or was as the case may be) something to do with that? Just guessing. Smile

Problem solved with the latest version of the My Video 3 pluging

i.e from the myvideo3 plugin readme file
Database
-----------------
You must also download the "MyDatabase.mdb" database file for this to work (this database is used in "My Music", "My Videos" and "My Pictures", it can be found on any of the plugins pages in the wiki (http://gbpvr.bladerhq.com), if you are using an older database (videos.mdb) replace it with the new one, and alter the connection string in the "Database" tab under "settings" in gbpvrs config application (if you look at the connection string you'll see a directory, most likely C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\videos.mdb just change that part, ignore the rest)).
