When watching encoded videos (divx/xvid) from My Videos the aspect ratio remains @ what seems 4:3 no matter what the video was created for. Many of the video files I have were meant to be viewed @ 16:9... is there any way that GB-PVR can play according to what the video was meant to viewed at? Don't like watching 16:9 vidz at 4:3. Thanks all!

You can press F7 during playback to toggle aspect ratio.

I press F7 during playback and it doesn't change the aspect on amy of my videos... many of which I know are 16:9. Sad

Sorry, I forgot to mention - this only works if you're using VMR7 or VMR9, otherwise you're out of luck.

Is there a key for F7 on the old Hauppauge remote?

No, but you can add one in irremote.ini if you can find a free button, or one you dont really use.

Will that work from the MVP (which is all I use with GBPVR)?
