Unable to access composite video on Hauppauge 1955.

Got Ir blaster to work. added channel groups nextpvr lists devices that include Hauppauge HVR USB2 Video Capture but when trying to use it I only get audio. Assume that S-Video is being selected (no input) but not Composite. How do I select Composite input? Included Logs, filtertest logs also. Also note the NPVR does not work if installed on a different drive as the service still tries to load off the C: drive. I added a softlink to fix.

You didn't include the nrecord.log we'd need to see. (you had an older version of this file, but it only showed an attempt to use the tuner, not composite)

I have been trying each time - data in the logs are the same as any current logs. I just do not understand how to get to composite. (the inputs are NOT interchangeable, with wintv if I accidentally select s-video I get no data, I must select composite under wintv so I expect the same behaviour here. Appended is a new log and pictures of setup screens.

Yes I found where I can set it to composite when I add a channel. The program however refuses to scan the composite for channels so I added them manually from a channel guide - Close but not completely correct. I am saddened to find my provider does not provide closed captions something I have gotten used to because of hearing issues. Next up is to figure out how to add a guide so I can actually record.

Yep that is correct - it doesn't make sense to "scan" for composite channel. ie, it's a single video input to the video capture device, and no way for the application to know anything about the singular channel the composite channel is being fed by your set top, or what other channels your set top box might be able to provide. The closest you'll get (in any software) is looking up your channels online, and creating them automatically.

You can manually add them, but typically a US user would use the 'Import' button, and select their Schedules Direct lineup, and it'll automatically create all the channels listed in your lineup.

Something is still not correct. Got everything working. Schedules direct when it repopulated the channels used tuner and I had to change it back to composite. However when I got up this morning all I got was static. Checked config - was still correct. Rebooted - no change. Brought up WINTV got picture. After bringing up Wintv then Nextpvr started working again. Logs included.

Are the channel numbers on your Schedules Direct lineup correct? ie, has your set top box been changed to a channel that doesn't exist, and is outputting static?
