I am running the most recent build of NextPVR on an older laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and was using an older wintv PVR USB2 tuner(analog cable) and a HVR-950(ATSC OTA HD) with hardly any issues at all. However, I wanted to be able to record 2 ATSC channels at the same time so I bought a WinTV DualHD 1595 tuner to replace the PVR USB2(since it does not support ATSC). I have successfully switched my HVR-950 over to record analog cable, but my DualHD is only showing up as QAM and DVB-T.

As you can see it shows that it is a dual tuner, but ATSC is not an option.
I downloaded the driver update from the webpage and it does work with the WinTV 8 software.
Thanks.

Please post your logs. Go into the Devices tab, as you did in the screen shot above, then go to the About tab and press the button to zip your logs. Attach that zip to a post here. You will need to click on "Go Advanced" if you are using the Quick Reply format.

If you right click on those devices, and delete them, then restart the app and return to the Devices screen, do they return as DVB-T?
