acting as client not working

Hi All,
I've set my NPVR installation to act as a client.
I've entered the settings correctly and can confirm that with the server / share name I can access the NPVR directory from the remote machine.
However, each time I start NPVR on the client, I get a message to say that communcation with the server name can't be made.
I've attached the NPVR log from the client, but I can't see any error in there.
Any ideas?!

Thanks for the sugestion... I'd already disabled the firewall on both as a test. No joy.
I've just figured out what was wrong. Both machines are Win 10. One's network was listed as private... the other public. Removing the private network fixed the issue. Both server and client are now showing TV smoothly.
