NextPVR 4.0.4 (171121)

The last two nights NDigitalHost.exe has crashed on my PC as it was run from the schedule to update the EPG. It also does this if I update the EPG manually from Settings | Channels.

On one occasion, restarting the recording service allowed me to update manually, but it hasn't worked this time.

It consistently crashes at the end of the 60-second timer for the third of eight multiplexes: if it's relevant, it's at the end of mux COM4 or the beginning of mux COM5.

What evidence do you need? These are the crash reports from Control Panel | Admin Tools | Event Viewer

Do you need anything else? I've not seen the problem before yesterday and I'm not aware of making any significant changes (eg installing new software or drivers) for a while. I can still make scheduled recordings - I've just tried a manual one.

Later...

I have an NPVR.exe.dmp file which I've zipped and uploaded to my webspace http://www.martinunderwood.f9.co.uk/NPVR...e.1460.zip (I tried to add as attachment to the thread, but there was a 2.5 MB limit for ZIP files and mine is 6.5 MB). This relates to the second Event Log trace above 25/11/2017 09:04:42

I notice that the first event log relates to Faulting application path NDigitalHost.exe (scheduled) and the second to NPVR.exe (manual) but both refer to Faulting module path: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\clr.dll

Unfortunately that dmp file doesn't seem to show the actual cause.

If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp when this happens? If so please supply.

If that doesn't help, I might need to use TSCapture (eval version) to grab a 1 minute full transport of that problem frequency, and put the file somewhere I can download it, so I can try a EPG update here from the data in your area.
