I have NPVR running on a Windows 10 machine 2 tuners, 1 is OTA with 2 markets networks the other gets a third market via cable clear QAM. I live centered between 3 different markets. I have Kodi on a RPi with the NPVR app.

I have some series set to record "All New Episodes", recording Type: "Record Season (NEW episodes on this channel)". As soon as a program is recorded MCEBuddy processes it and moves it to a folder that SickGear then processes.

I must be doing something wrong since reruns are also recording. They show up in Pending Recordings. Any idea what's up? Is it that I am not saving old recordings?

Was on 4.0.4. Just updated a minute ago to 4.0.5.

The new flag comes from your EPG data so that won't be impacted by what you have saved. i

Using XMLTV file from WebGrab Plus + using yo.tv to grab.

The oddity is that S0xE01 shows as a premier, even if it was broadcast 20 years ago, in the NPVR guide. But this applies to all episodes.

Well it is a series premier regardless of when is shown.

Yeah, episode one of season one is the Series Premiere. Episode one of all other seasons are season premiere. This is true regardless of whether it's been aired before or not.

Whether these is a treated as new episode or not depends on whether your xmltv file provides info like <previously-shown>.

It is mostly likely because your xmltv EPG data isn't uniquely identifying each show, so NextPVR has no idea that one episode is the same as another.

For best results in North America, most people use a Schedules Direct account for their listings.
