THe OTA data is useless so missing recordings and data is to be expected. Schedules Direct is only $25 a year not sure why you pay more.

As Martin mentioned above, if you're your guide data has gaps or is empty, it'll likely come down to the crappy broadcast guide data in the US. In the US they're only required to broadcast 6 hours of listings on ATSC, so that's all they'll usually broadcast. Most people in that part of the world end up getting a Schedules Direct subscription, which gives them great multi-week listings, with artwork etc, for $25 a year.

Hello SubAdministrator

Schedules Direct was what I was using after using the Default ATSC coding to begin with - which was working great. It was ~$10/month approximately 9 months to a year ago, possibly with a $~25 a yearly charge which I did not want to pay for.

Now, I just want the original TV Program Guide information (which was working fine before Schedules Direct) to work again after using Schedules Direct for the trial period. Evidently Schedules Direct set something which does not allow my Program TV Guide information anymore!

Sorry

Be aware that the free Default ATSC TV Guide Program info worked great before Schedules Direct free trial, but not after Schedules Direct free trial - with the code I specified in this correspondence!

Schedules Direct is only $25 a year. I think they also have a $6 for two month membership, for those that don't want to commit to $25 for a year. It's the best option for US based users. (some also try to get by with zap2xml for free, but you'll definitely send more than $25 of your time and ours trying to get it setup and fixing it when it breaks regularly)

Have you gone to http://www.schedulesdirect.org/ to setup and pay for an account? If you login there, it should tell you the status of your account, and give you the opportunity to pay for a year if you need to.

subAdministrator and Martin

Thank you both for the info about zap2xml and OTA data, saving me further time/frustration; I take that there is not a problem with my Recording and Decoder coding in this correspondence - please let me know?

I do not want to pay Schedules Direct online via a credit card - security concerns. Do you know if there are other ways/means to pay Schedules Direct?

I sincerely appreciate your time/information; enjoy your day!

What does your TV Guide settings look like? You want each channel set for DVB/ATSC EPG source I believe. (ignore the XMLTV I am experimenting with)
Highlight the channel go to details and reconfigure the EPG source.

I'm getting support emails at Schedules Direct, but it's not clear they are getting through to the OP.. I'll post here.

Not sure why a free trial would cost $10/month. Schedules Direct has been $25/year (with a truly free trial) for a decade. We don't want to know your payment information. We accept payment through PayPal and Amazon. It's up to those companies if they accept prepaid gift cards (I'm pretty sure they both do).

Schedules Direct doesn't update NextPVR or any application. If switching to SD changed a system setting, it was done by NextPVR or that application. We're not in a position to troubleshoot any application, but the folks here can help with NextPVR.
