I had set up recordings, but now want stop recording them. I can't figure out how to stop them. Even if I go to Forget, or Cancel, a few weeks later it begins recording again.

How do I turn particular recordings off for good?

You cancel them in the recurring recordings screen

In v4, in the Recordings screen, press left or right keys to cycle through the different recording lists. You want the recurring list.

If I choose the recording and then choose Update and try to change it from Record Once to another option, the side to side arrows don't do anything. (Windows 7 computer)

Cancel does nothing. I am at a a loss. I can't get the recordings to quit.

Oh that Windows Media Player worked again....

It doesn’t let you change the recording type (first item in the list), but you can change the options, like padding etc, and you can cancel it.

For the avoidance of doubt ... Select Recordings in the menu ... You will see a list of recordings with the word Ready underneath ... Press left or right arrow until you see Recurring ... Then delete the Recurring recording.

Edit ... You might see What's New and not Ready ... The arrow keys will still take you to Recurring.
