IPTV M3U

I would love to see the ability to have auto updates to the IPTV m3u file device like the guide does. This way my m3u stays up to date along with my guide.

Most people don't like to see this auto update, since adding all sorts of random channels can screw up a users nicely crafted channel lists. ie, most people delete like 90% of the channels from their IPTV provider, and adjust channel numbers etc,

I own my own server and service. I have built it so my customers can customize the channel list and categories of the m3u file before the devices run it for the first time. The auto update feature would help out when sports or ppv are playing. Those links need updated on a regular. Is there any kind of cron job that can be setup for those that might want to do it?

That's something you could run from a cron job with whatever frequency you want.

Yes, it should be in the current release. Running that command above will cause any new channels from the m3u to be added.

I get -sh: dotnet: not found when running the command.
