My HTPC is set to run Kodi as soon as the user logs in. Unfortunately this always causes the NextPVR add-on to fail to initialise.

The issue appears to be that the NextPVR service is configured for a delayed start. If I delay launching Kodi for 2 minutes then everything works fine because, by then, NextPVR is up and running.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't reconfigure the NextPVR service to start immediately?

I figured someone might say that Smile

I'm just wondering if there was any rationale behind setting it to delayed start in the first place?

Will give it a go tonight and see what happens.

I was mainly just a concern that NextPVR could come up before the network, causing network tuners to not be found.

Ahhh that makes sense now - since I'm using an PCIe card that won't be an issue.

Great, thank you!
