Thx.
Version 5 install info is also dated. Is this the best source? https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59388

If you see your tuners it is running.

So I guess I'll try to find some time today to work on installing 5. Service stopped again last night, no warning, nothing comes up in the tray, guess the idea is to constantly go over and check to see if it's running? That seems a bit ridiculous. I did upload the log files, but don't see that anyone provided any input from them.

Had nothing to do with a button's function.

It used to stop Windows thinking the machine is idle and going to sleep. This does not stop the machine from shutting down when the user explicitly tells it to shutdown/restart/standby.

It only works when the tray app is running. Open Services. msc, double-click on the service to open the Properties of the service, there is a Recovery tab and those settings should allow you to restart the service upon failure.
