Why when running gbpvr to a mvp does it create files on your computer during live tv playback . This happens when i change channels, a new file for that channel is created. I am also getting crashes similar to posts in other threads when changing channels.

Many thanks Jase.

This is the way its designed to work.

When you view any video on the MVP, it is just playing a file off your PC hard drive. 'Live TV' is no different.

There could be many of reasons for this, and depends on your specific situation.

Is it where the playback can be jerky, and sometimes just quit? If so, I get that. Usually I can solve by pressing my catch-up button to get the timeline running smooth. This is in timeshift, so it may not be same problem.

Do the buffers in CP apply to TS? It always seems like if it broke from channel you were watching, paused just a second, and then started new file, it wouldn't get jammed up like that (the way going out to guide and back to tv doesn't).

Do these files get deleted when you stop using livetv or do you have to manualy remove them.

The get deleted automatically a few minutes after you stop watching the file.
