Hauppauge DCR-2650

I would like to know if I need to install the WinTV software prior to installing NextPVR to get my hauppauge DCR-2650 up and running? I used the dcr for many years with Windows 7 and am excited to find that they are supporting Windows 10 now. Any help would be appreciated!

No, I don't think you need it.
