Hi,

so I managed to make this work a while back...  so I had to reinstall it again and now I cant seem to have a stable image while viewing my OTA signal (from Canada... and I get 29 channels YAY !).

I did see a new version came our recently so I wonder...

anyhow, im pretty sure its regarding the decoders (or maybe not)...   I'm using a usb ati tv wonder 600, the decoders I use are the ones for the cards...   I am sure they worked before... I tried LAV but either I am too noob to make it work but it was not successful.

I searched here and I cant seem to find anything.

any guidance or help would be appreciated...

Without logs we can't even tell what client you are talking about. https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help

As an example If you are talking NextPVR.exe when you installed LAV did you install the 32bit version and did you configure the client to use them for MPEG2 video and AC3 audio?

If you are talking the web app, it could be your PC not being fast enough.

Many questions are solved with the logs.

PC should be fine... but I mightve installed 64, I'll try this before and if not I'll be right back with the logs.

Thanks for the fast reply Smile

I was expected to see v5 logs because your posted in the v5 sub forum.

Are you using a signal booster? If so remove it and retry.

and to add (and make sure) I built myself another antenna and tried it... and for the channels I got on that one, it is pixelated and choppy.

as for the PC, nothing as changed besides adding a 1TB SSD drive.

currently the specs I have is AMD processor quad core @ 3700mhz, 16gb of DDR3, video is a Gforce GTX 980 strix

Could you post a link to a 1 minute recording saved on the cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive etc) and we can confirm the file is bad. Your signal strength didn't look bad, in fact the reason I asked if you were using a booster is I thought it might be too strong.

I'll try to find a place to upload. I just watched it and it looks quite the same as the LIVE

I removed it to test as suggested and I was able to test on local chanels (so with my new homemade ant ) I still wonder what happened from now to 2-3 weeks ago, I could watch hours at a time with no issues whatsoever...

EDIT : hadnt done this in quite some time... pretty easy lol

here it is : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gt2UNIi...sp=sharing

NOTE : same condition as when I submitted the logs... well even without the booster it also looked like that
