Hi all,

I've searched the forums and cant find a definite answer hence posting a question here.

I'm still new to this, i've set up the NextPVR within a Docker container, iut works great,  took a few head scratches, especially when trying to set up the Android app on the Shield on the TV,  some reason it had a 172. IP address in the listing,  NVM  got around that.

My question is,    NZ OnDemand,   is there a way to have those channels in the Next PVR listings, to record / view  at all ?

Also is there a listing of recommended subscription IPTV listings ?

I agree the docker install posts should probably be updated to show the HOST_IP is used for for more than legacy HDHR devices.

In general On Demand recording from any site or app is web scraping totally unrelated to the NextPVR app. Integrating On Demand with an EPG based metaphor is not a simple matter.

We have legal subscription IPTV from our cable companies but they are all DRM'd and I suspect that is the same in most countries. Recommending grey area IPTV is a different matter and what is working today might be shutdown tomorrow.

NZ does have a few IPTV sources available https://i.mjh.nz/nz/ that don't require subscriptions.

For the main NZ FTA channels, try 'Import M3U' using:

M3U: https://i.mjh.nz/nz/kodi-tv.m3u8
XML: https://i.mjh.nz/nz/epg.xml
