Channels not found

Hi everbody, yes, I saw these is handled before, but I do not understand the answers.

I made a channel scan and many channels were found, but these two not:

Scanning ASTRA my SAT>IP Device from KATHREIN found 502 channels, but not the two above. These channels are the most common channels in Germany.

There seems to be a way to manually add these channels, but how can I do this?

By the way: replacing rtsp through http the above urls are working fine with VLC. I am using a ubuntu server Linux ubuntuvdr 6.8.0-48-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Sep 27 14:04:52 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux and the nextVDR version is 34.

Support posts should go to the appropriate forum for your OS. There is no way to add SAT>IP channels that can't be scanned but we can reduce the number to just those two to speed things up.

First can you please post the zipped logs from NextPVR they are on the main Settings screen.

Here you can find the desired log-file.

Try this

sudo nano /opt/nextpvr/system/tuning/DVB-S/0192-short.ini

and paste this into it

1=0192
2=Astra missing

[DVB]
0=2
1=11362,H,22000,23,S2,8PSK
2=11494,H,22000,23,S2,8PSK

Do the scan and upload the zipped logs afterwards, assuming it fails.

If they scan don't do an EPG update though, it will take too long just makes sure it plays

Thanks for your answer.
Just do be sure, I did it all right:
The path is: /opt/nextpvr/system/ *data* /tuning/DVB-S, missing the data in your path, right?

0192-short.ini is a new file, both files, 0192-short.ini and 0192.ini exists. right?
Found more than 400 channels, but not the desired.

Missunderstood: now I found, that there is a new entry: Astra missing from above.
I  repeated the scan, log attached, now with this new entry.

Right sorry about that it is in data and you should see two. But did you scan with short file? It should only scan the 2 frequencies

do you see any messages on your SAT>IP server? I see this

Fantastic, mvallevand.
Found! Not all four inputs were connected to the satellite dish. But when searching, one led was flashing.
I connected all four and the channels were found! Many thanks again.

Great no problem. Be default NextPVR doesn't request a specific tuner, I would have thought with 8 tuners the SAT>IP server would have given you a good one. Glad it is sorted out.
