HD Channels not found during scan

Hi

I'm in the process of setting up NextPVR on Ubuntu 20.04. I'm in the UK and tune to the Waltham Transmitter, when scanning all channels are found apart from the HD channels on frequencies 586.000 MHz and 746.000 MHz DVB-T2.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Graham,

Thanks for your quick reply. I just managed to sort the problem. The file /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t/uk-Waltham was out of date. Copied in the new file from https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables....uk-Waltham, using the command:

sudo curl https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables....uk-Waltham -o /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t/uk-Waltham

re-ran the scan again and all the HD channels were found.

Great. Glad you got it sorted.

Unfortunately a lot of Linux distributions have out of date versions of these files.
