Is there any way to wake up my PC after it hibernates, my problem is that I do not have a mouse or keyboard attached to my computer. It is controlled over my network by PC Anywhere. I love how my computer will hibernate between recording shows, but I have to use the power button to turn it off and then turn it back on if I want to watch a show.

You might want to check your BIOS settings. Some have a setting that allow your power button to put the PC in hibernate mode, and I believe with that setting hitting the power button again will take it back out. That might work for you.

Good luck,

My computer goes into hibernate automatically. I don't have any special settings to make the computer go into hibernation when I press the power button. However, if the computer is hibernated, and I press the power button it will resume from hibernation. I don't have to turn it off first.

But it's even more convenient with a wireless mouse; a press on the mouse button and the computer wakes up =)

Not without custom built hardware, I think. It's come up before, but I don't remember an easy solution. Try a search here.

If you've got Wake-on-LAN enabled in your motherboard's BIOS, you can remote wake up your computer from any computer in the house that's on the network. That includes WiFi enabled PDAs.

I'm also looking for a way to wake my GBPVR with the Hauppauge remote.
My Pundit-R with a PVR-150 and a PVR-350 (with IR receiver) are in the basement. I use a Powermid next to my TV to transfer IR signals to the HTPC.

I read something about USI UIRT ? This is a IR receiver on USB ? I think I can configure my PC to boot on USB activity. Anyone got this working ?

Any help is appreciated.

Kind regards,
Edwin
