Via perhaps slower clients (like FF on Android phone), using the web browsers, i click on program guide entries, click on 'record once', the window with the program details closes, but the entry in the program guide doesn't turn 'red' to show that it has been scheduled to record.

So i refresh the program guide page in the browser, it still doesn't show up as red, so i repeat the above steps. Most of the times it does show up as red.

However, when i looked at the Scheduler the next day, i see duplicates in the recording schedule. Is this a known bug?

ETA: not the latest August update yet, still running the July update (5.1.3.210711)

I've upgraded to 5.1.4.210802, will keep an eye out if this issue persists.

What was your EPG source? We've seen some situations with xmltv users where the guide data had duplicate shows at the specified time, and red one was behind a normal one, so wasn't visible.

If you click another tab and back, is it then highlighted red?

If you find an example where it just stays like that, scheduled, but not showing red in the guide, supply your npvr.db3 and I'll tell you why.

no, it does not. however, if I choose another program to record, it will start the original recording.

Also, I just verified, it does not actually start recording, at least nothing is being written to disk right now.

The first time I tried to reproduce, it happened on the first program. I switched tabs, then came back. still didn't show red. Then I clicked another in progress show to record once, and then both turned red.

The second attempt at reproducing, the first through third pograms set to record all turned red immediately, but the 4th did not. As of right now, it still has not turned red, and it is not writing any data to disk. Device status only shows 3 tuners being used (of the 4 I have).

update. Once another program finished, then the 4th one I tried started recording. Almost like it only thinks I have 3 tuners instead of 4.

update 2: I tried to record a 4th program with success, so it for sure sees all 4 tuners.
