Kill till done on remote buttons

I would like GB to not read the remote when it is already doing a remote function. My reason is that if you push the skip again while it is already doing a skip, it locks up. My dvd player remote works by increasing the ff speed with multiple pushes, so it is habit for me to push more than once in a row, never mind letting my kid use the remote. "Dad, it's locked up again"

I don't have that issue. I set my skips for 29 seconds and hit the button four times as soon as a commercial comes on. Usually skips correctly. Every now and then it skips to the end of the file, for some reason. And on very rare occasions does it actually lock up. Just my experience.

You are saying you do 4 quick hits and it stacks them?

They just arrive as keystrokes from the Hauppauge remote. I have no way of knowing how many are queued up, and how long they've been sitting there.

It doesnt lockup for me if I press it multiple times. The second keypress wont be processed until the first one has completed.

Ok, so if I'm getting lock up, where do I start looking for the problem?
