No EPG from HDHomeRun (UK)

I've installed NPVR Server v6.1.1.22106 on a Windows Server 2022 machine. I use a HDHomeRun Quattro for my tuner. NPVR has found the HDHomeRun and populated the channel list, but I can't get it to download an EPG. I'm unable to run the NPVR Client, as it crashes on startup (I've started a separate post regarding that).
Is there anything special that I need to do to get an EPG from HDHomeRun?

It is related to the other post, without the hacked BDA drivers you cannot get the OTA EPG. If you have the BDA drivers hacked in upload your logs.

I also posted a utility to get the XMLTV guide from Schedules Direct here. https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid579800 which doesn't need the BDA drivers.

I had to do a bit of googling to find out what BDA was! I couldn't find any working links to a means of enabling BDA on Windows Server 2022. Is this still an option?

...OK I eventually managed to find a utility which grabbed BDA files from a Windows 7 machine and copied them to a Windows Server machine. The copy had many errors (access denied), but did copy several files across. I then rebooted. Still no EPG, unfortunately.

Sorry you also have the install the HDHR software on you PC. I am not sure the BDA drivers are installed properly either but that is out of scope for NextPVR support.

Note I don't recommend downloading hacked untrusted drivers from the Internet to get BDA working so user beware.

Hmmm....so I installed the HDHomeRun software, and set "BDA Compatibility Mode" to "NextPVR". I then rebooted. Still no EPG updates. Maybe the BDA drivers were not installed properly?

Yes normally the logs tell us that but I didn't see it. Maybe the Silicondust software doesn't bother on Windows Servers? You could also try FilterCheck https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/FilterCheck to see if they are installed .

If you install the full HDHomeRun software, you should get the DVB EPG in NextPVR. https://download.silicondust.com/hdhomer...indows.exe

This should work regardless of whether you're using the HDHR or DVB-T (BDA) device type.
