My TV card is connected to a home security camera via composite video input.

Is there any possibility for my TV card to provide a security service with GBPVR and my camera while the card is idle between scheduled recordings?

the security camera plugin only works with ip or web cams. Sorry. Maybe if we can find an api to capture the feed.

I haven't tried this yet, but it was my plan... I have three cameras that transmit to a single receiver with composite video out to some type of display/recorder. The system is designed to be connected directly to the rear of a TV. Assuming your setup is similar, why is it that we can't simply add the station to the tuner card setup and roll along?

Hmm... is there an API definition for a Webcam? i.e. how do you determine what webcams exist? I have 3 connected and SecurityCam only seems to pick up the first one (and uses its composite in instead of the cam itself) - is there any finer control available over which cam gets used etc.?

I also have a QuickCam Sphere with pan and tilt (for what it's worth) - it would be neat to be able to drive that from my MVP Big Grin

Thanks,
C.
