That's part of the problem with trusting the SD number Antiques Road and Alfred Hitchcock do have two the same show with more than one ID. There is an Antiques Roadshow (UK) that is different but that is not what we are seeing here.

Ah, OK.  I understand.  This is coming up for Supermarket Sweep because we watch both of those programs regularly.  My wife is a real fan, especially of the old show.  I've recorded the Antiques and Hitchcock to be part of the library, to be watched whenever.  We haven't watched either of them for quite awhile, hence haven't noticed the show number issue.

Again, thanks for your continued help.

I understand what you're saying well enough to realize it could be a lot of work to "fix" this issue in general.  I also recognize that this is a niche request, as you've previously noted, and would understand if you decided to assign it a low priority, especially as it relates to the Kodi interface.  Evidently nobody else is bringing it up.

You've told me how I can "fix" the problem for one show at a time by installing sqlite and writing a script and I may take that up at some point.  But, as I've mentioned before, this approach looks like an opportunity for me to mess up something that is largely working "good enough" right now.  My wife would not be happy with me if her show did not record!   Rolleyes

Regardless, I do appreciate yours and sub's efforts on my behalf, and hope that feedback from me is useful to you.  It takes a bit of time to prepare feedback for you and I'm very happy to do so.

Do you know if there is three different supermarket sweep series?

Looking at your data, and what Schedules Direct is returning, it looks like there are three:
SH00019913 from 1990
SH02893551 from 2000
SH03416733 from 2020

I'm about to take a closer look at the artwork they're supplying for these.

Although I do feel the effort was largely a waste of sub's time for series, it is a reasonable enhancement for movies and I will spend the time to deal with the this in Kodi. I don't like Kodi to fall behind.

On themoviedb, it looks like those years are about right, so probably correct that is showing supermarket sweep into three groups, but it's not year clear why the artwork is incorrect for the year 2000 version

I don't know for sure, sub, but it's quite possible.  I just went out to Wikipedia and found this bit:

"The original show was broadcast on ABC from December 20, 1965 to July 14, 1967.[2] Revivals aired on Lifetime from February 5, 1990 to June 16, 1995 (with reruns until August 14, 1998, and on PAX TV from April 5, 1999 to March 31, 2000), and later from April 3, 2000 to May 23, 2003, with reruns airing until March 26, 2004. Another ongoing revival of the show premiered on October 18, 2020, also on ABC.[3]"

I suspect we're seeing artwork for the Lifetime series and the PAX TV series.  Both were hosted by David Ruprecht.  So, the differences we're seeing may very well be correct.

One thing I didn't get from our previous exchange was why I'm seeing two different pictures and you aren't.

Thanks again.

There is a mix of way this show is numbered.  thetvdb consider it one series with different seasons https://thetvdb.com/series/supermarket-sweep  but that 2000 one is correct.

To complicate things there is an active UK version running

To be clear, there is an active US version running as well, hosted by Leslie Jones.  That's the one I referred to earlier as the "new" version.

One small(?) correction:  I'm seeing two pictures of David Ruprecht (old host).  You are seeing two as well, but they are both the same picture.  My second picture of him looks like the attached.
Can you post your screenshot of the Recordings screen?
