Rebooting the server fixed the timeline. So that helps.

Correct, but only some channels, not all.
Hauppauge - Collossus 2 - Dish network - works
OTA - Hauppauge WinTV quadHD - CBS/ABC/PBS don't work, NBC works.

I can watch any recording in progress thru Emby Theater on windows or Emby on Roku. But there are other issues that keep me from just switching to Roku.

I do have a fix for playback of in-progress recordings, but it needs an updated nlite, and updated backend. That backend fix will be included with the next build of NextPVR.

I did find the cause a couple of weeks back, but only got around to fixing it yesterday.

Agreed the Roku is not the ideal way to go because of the mpeg ts handling with Emby or the NextPVR channel  but uidroid outshines nlite in many ways.

I've updated to V6 and the August build of NLite. I'm still seeing the issue with trying to watch a recording in progress on some channels over the network.
I can play the recording once it has completed.

Steps:
Play a recording in progress
screen shows progress bar, but no video or audio.
At this point I can exit the recording.

Attached log is with a recording on CBS (The Price Is Right). I'll post another log from NBC where playback is working.

We tried to address this in testing but sub was not able to find a solution.

It was also not in the release notes as being fixed.
