Issue After Adding 2nd HDHomerun Tuner

I added a second HDHomerun tuner this afternoon, but I can't seem to get it to work. I tried it from Lodi first, but then had the same problem in the web interface. I can add two recordings, but I am not able to add a third one. I have attached log files.

Remember the 2MB limit, you might have zip file or some other junk in you log folder

Don't scan a second tuner (assuming it is dual or quad). Delete all the channels (if they exist) from the tuner with the trash can and copy when prompted.

If it is a second physical device do not copy if prompted.

I did delete all channels with the trash can, then I added the new dual tuner, they are both dual tuners, then I scanned 1 tuner and copied the other three...I was not aware of do not copy with second physical device. The logs are 1.3 MB not sure what happened before.

It's just something be careful of with HDHomeRun devices, because there is several different types of HDHomeRun devices, and different types can require different tuning information (so you could be copying the wrong type of tuning info for that device). If they're same type of device, they're ok to copy.

Did you remember go into the web app for the new HDHomeRun, and scan channels?

Basically NextPVR is asking it for channel 7.1, but the HDHomeRun doesn't know of a channel 7.1. Probably because you haven't scanned on that device.

That is why you can't simply copy devices.  The antennas are different and so possibly are lineup.json.  I think if you use ATSC mode you also may not be able to copy them.

You guys are spot on channel 7 does not come up when I scan the new HDHomerun. Both tuners are the same, two tuners per box. How the heck do I get all the channels to show up on the second HD?

Did you do a scan with the HDHR software (or its web interface)? And does it show channel 7? You need to have that in place first.

I can see channel 7 in 1 tuner in each physical HDHomerun, but the second tuner will now show channel 7 in a scan.
