I think it is working based upon my 40-years of engineering experience in defense electronics, experience with the legacy NPVR (for Windows), and experience with these kind of devices in general, mine being brand new. The pace of the scan seemed about right, it is reporting a descent C/N (Carrier to Noise Ratio), postBER (Bit Error Rate) of 0 (0 meaning to errors!) and "post", I assume is post processing since the tuner is basically a digital radio. Also the Signal it reports is descent . That was using Hauppauge's small antenna that comes with Tuner.

I tried using my outside antenna with an LNA that supplies a very good signal as it should be pointed at the broadcast antenna in Bithlow. It showed even better and stronger indications of good excellent RF and digital performance. All these factors being what they are, are not a coincidence, so I am very sure it is working fine. Even the number of channels (channel frequencies) found of 50 is spot on for this area's OTA (over the air channels at my location near Orlando, Florida.

What are the "command INVERSION (6) not found during store" errors mean?

It sounds like the data is not stored by NextPVR software which might be because the file that it should be stored in does not exist. That has little to do with the tuner device. I agree that it needs be resolved before NextPVR is able to use any channels, but I don't know how fix NextPVR at this end.

When you show us the working dvb_channel.conf we can continue this discussion. The signal levels showing in your capture were junk.

You will see this when dvbv5-scan locks.

Lock (0x1f) Signal= 72.86% C/N= 0.39% UCB= 255 postBER= 0

If it was working, dvbv5-scan would have displayed the channel names as it found them.
