IPTV Merge Channel

Hello,
If I have 2 different m3u files with the same channels (same channel number, description, etc just different source) and import both into v5 and then auto merge the channels, how does nextpvr choose which stream to use? If one doesn't respond, does it switch to the next source? Or is purely round robin?

When it's looking for a source for recording, it'll make it's way down the source list on Settings->Devices.

When it's looking for a source for live tv, it'll make it's way up the source list on Settings->Devices.

It'll use the first one that it finds that can provide the channel (and if for a recording, is not already scheduled to be used for recording another channel in that same time period)

If one doesn't respond, does it switch to the next source?

For recordings, if the first one fails, it will do a second chance recording on another source. For live tv, if it fails, then the user gets a failure message and live tv stops.
