Just recently my NextPVR is not playing video from my HDHomeRun mcard tuners. 

System is WIN 10. Has worked no problem fine for many years. Upgraded to NextPVR ver 5 many months ago and everything worked just fine (playback, recording, etc). In the HDHomeRun app all channels play perfectly. 

I first noticed in NextPVR client in Kodi 19.4 that no video shows up when selecting a channel a couple of days ago. 

Tried my Emby client and same result. Zeroed in on the NextPVR server and sure enough no video there. When trying to switch to a channel a blank screen shows up without audio.

I did read through numerous threads and did install the LAV filters but no change. Not sure on what to configure.

By the way my HDHomeRun OTA tuner works just fine in NextPVR and through to the Emby and Kodi clients.

Attached is the log from startup. 

2023-01-14 11:38:26.094 is where I try a channel from the HDHomeRun OTA tuner. success in getting video and audio after about 10 seconds.

At 2023-01-14 11:39:06.841 is where I then try channel 780 from the HDHomeRun cable tuners. No video.

Any suggestions. Thanks, John.

Are the channels encrypted? Only the HDHR app can play DRM right now and it can't even play the ATSC 3 DRM yet. If you got to

http://IP/lineup.json and check 780 there might be more info.

You might also need a rescan.

Logs need to be zipped. Get them from the Web settings screen.

Hi Martin, just for grins I did remove NextPvr V5 and then installed Version: 6.1.1.221106.

Same behavior: channel playback works fine in the HDHomeRun app, NextPVR sees all the necessary channels and guide information looks good. I did notice when I try to play a channel in NextPVR the receiving data count, at the bottom of the screen does increment as does the player time stamp to the right. But there still is neither audio or video. I suspect that something in the codec processing is a miss.

Also, I did have NextPVR record part of a program a few minutes ago. That worked just fine and I was able to playback the video.

I have attached the fresh logs.

Oh yea, no of these channels from HDHomeRun are DRM. I flagged them in HD as deleted.

I'd guess like Martin that maybe they've started encrypting your content.

If you an do a recording, do you end up with a file? If you get a file, is it playable in anything? If not, supply a sample (via onedrive/googledrive/etc link) and I'll take a look.

FWIW - same problem here. NPVR sees channels, gets guide. But live TV says cannot connect - no HDHR present.
Win10 pro   NPVR 6.1.1.   HDHR Prime with working CableCard.

Very kind offer. Unfortunately, it fails recordings as well.

You don't really have the same problem that is why hijacking threads is a bad idea.. Send your zipped logs and we can log.
