After reading other posts, I know the "Compro VideoMate DVB-T200" can work with GBPVR.

When I select "Live TV", I get the message "Channel Tuning Information not known".

I have set up the following so far:

1. Added new entry to bda.ini ;

[Compro VideoMate T200]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate T200 BDA DVBT Tuner/DVB-T Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate T200 BDA Digital Capture/DVB Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

2. In GBPVR Config, Capture Sources ;

Recording Source : BDA Recording Plugin
EPG Source : Bleb(UK)
Channel Changer : No Channel Changer Required.

3. Update EPG (in Edit Recording Source dialog).

The expected channels have appeared in the Channels list.

Please help.

You have to click the 'map digital channels to epg channel' button in the config app.

[Compro VideoMate T300]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Try this if you have a VideoMate T300.

Thanks for reply.

I tried this and got message "You will not be able to record or timeshift live TV until you install Cyerlink ...Multiplex filter... not found on your machine."
followed by message
"GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly and not already in use.".

I looked at other posts where you have recommended to install multiplexor, but it is not clear where to get these from.

Thanks again.

You cant ignore that message. You must install this on you machine, or it just wont work.

I cant supply this. Everyone else is managing to find it, so keep looking. Someone else might be able to point you in the right direction.

OK point taken.
Found this on forum :
http://forum.gbpvr.com/forums/archive/in...-5257.html

1. Installed Cyberlink multiplexor.

2. looked in log for errors - using GraphEdit, I corrected the entry in bda.ini to:
[Compro VideoMate T200]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate T200 BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate T200 BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

3. Set BDA multiplexor in Misc to "Cyberlink"

4. Clicked the "map digital channels to epg channel".

NOW WORKING.
Many thanks.

I have a compro T300 and followed the instructions regarding adding an entry to the BDA.ini file. I have selected my source, updated the EPG but when I click on the 'Map Digital Channels to EPG channels' button a dialog box appears with instructions to 'Point me at the config directory'. This looks like a Windows directory browser, but I cannot expand any of the branches - the title changes to 'Browse for Folder (Not Responding)' and I cannot go any further.

Any ideas?

I've found the answer - I just needed to install the Cyberlink files first!

The info in bda.ini seems to be there already and seems to be what you guys have but I keep getting

'BDA device not found - check it is not in use...'

when I click map channels to epg

And then it crashes.

I have installed the Cyberlink PowerVCR2 and I have the option of using the cyberlink multiplexor in MISC.

Any ideas
