Hrmmm,

Seems I'm missing a few of the HD frequencies picking up any channels at the moment.

10773 is a problem, but I'm getting my Yorkshire HD BBC One via Freq 10847 SID 6911

11068 is a problem too, but get the ITV HD via Freq 11097 SID 21040

11053 is a problem, but it's just ITV3 HD.

Strangely my TV says it's picking up these frequencies, so assume dish and main LNB side of things is all fine.

The nextpvr/server channel scan works fine and as expected for other frequencies too, so assume the general hardware is fine there too.

Leaving me with just cable loss issues? Certain frequencies just not being happy, especially HD ones?

I currently have 3 coax from dish to three inputs in lounge. Two are unused. One feeds back to the cellar which has a distro board to all rooms in house, one which runs to office, one which runs to the lounge TV. So both devices go via this distro board, but then one is a wire that is a fair bit longer to the office.

Seems like moving server > lounge is the next test to run it on a fresh LNB input or two, and see what it can/can't see there... because clearly the dish and this specific LNB output, are sending the signal fine for the TV to use.

Are you sure you are using a recent ini file? Any Freesat changes to frequency or settings are automatically made to the box next time you use it!

All the BBC and ITV HD transponders use the same settings!
NextPVR Server - HP N54L Microserver, Windows 10 - Storage 2 X 3TB - Tuners DVBSky S952 Twin DVB-S/S2 PCIe, Hauppauge Twin DVB-T2 USB, Telestar Digibit R1 Sat>IP Server.
Clients:- 2 X RPi3 and Acer RL80 Celeron Nettop all running NextPVR New Client on LibreElec.

Hey,

Do you mean a Freesat box or TV will auto-adjust...? I assumed as much.

On the ini file, in NextPVR I'm taking the details from:
kingofsat.net
satellite-calculations.com

...and creating my own ini files for each frequency/block of channels, so I can more easily audit what is happening when I scan.

These frequencies seem to bring up nothing, but given my TV is getting them (debug readout shows the frequency), I can only assume some other problem.

Have you got the correct LNB settings?

The NPVR logs normally give an indication of signal strength/signal quality being seen for the tuner when it does lock on to a channel.

It would give you an indication of the consistency of the signal from your dish over the frequencies you're using.
NPVR Version= 6.1.4.230717
Intel i7 Quad Core 3200 + 16GB DDR3 Gigabyte Motherboard
Windows 11 Pro 64bit
TBS-6902 dual DVB-S tuner
TBS-6205 quad DVB-T tuner
500Gb System Disk (M2 Nvme SSD)
4Tb Media Store (2 x 2Tb M2 Nvme SSD Raid 0)

Raspberry Pi2, Pi3 B+ and Pi4 B all running OSMC (Kodi v19.5)

Take a look at my Lineup Utility - it does exactly this.  Free to use with no trackers etc (powershell scripts so you can see the source code)

Hope this helps
