Strange problem

Wonder if anyone can help

I have setup nextpvr on my linux machine. It uses iptv
I use Kodi as the client.
When i play a steam, after a few seconds it stops.

I did some testing. I install nextpvr on my corelec kodi, and did the same setup, and i dont have have the same issue. Works fine.

So i am wondering my linux server has problems.

I do know that the iptv only allows one connection, but then again it works fine on my kodi-nextpvr. Really confusing.

I hate snippets because we still have to ask questions and I see you edited the recording filename (incorrectly) in many places so there is not a lot to go on. From what I can piece together this looks like it is Kodi requesting the close not the server. Kodi debug bugs with more complete NextPVR logs would help. Since you say it works on CE I speculate that it could be VPN related.

Logs need to be zipped and under 2MB or you can use a paste site.

I was speculating that the CE server was not blocked and the Linux server was. That is assuming you are using the same software on both and I know CE is quite a few versions behind LE and the deb installer too but I don't think this is the issue. You could confirm if you want to, by manually updating CE to the current version.

Perhaps I am confused on the issue. What client and what server versions are you talking about? (why I hate snippets). Both pvr.nextpvr and the NextPVR backend can run natively on Linux distros and CoreELEC.

hey the linux version is 6.1.4.230625 . the kodi nextpvr server is 6.1.1.221106 .

the pvr kodi client is 21.0.0.1.

I tried tvheadend to see if it was a network problem, but that worked fine.

Thanks, that is strange. I assume that client is on the CE server so when it works it is localhost. You can you update the CE server to 6.1.4 (via settings) or I can give you zip to check that 6.1.4 is working ok if you want. What I am seeing in that Kodi snippet looks a lot like a network error though

If you have trouble attaching the Kodi logs from ssh run pastekodi and provide the URL. I would like you to enable debug logging in Kodi if you can.
