Sub, if I go and get this remote and update my MediaMVP to version 2.4 (beta), will that have any effect on gbpvr and IR support? In other words, will I be able to use it?

Thats the remote I've been using with my MVP for several months. Works fine.

To be honest, I cant remember. I installed it a couple of months back, so probably 2.2.

I have been using 2.4 with the new remote since Feb when the 2.4 version was first put out.....no problems.
