Hi All,

I've just setup NextPVR and seeing some strange behavior which i can't explain.

My configuration is:

Hardware: Dell Wyse 3040
Tuner: Xbox One TV Tuner
OS: Debian 12 Linux

I have NextPVR installed and running and it detects the tuner. I choose the uk-CrystalPalace transmitter and it finds 11 channels but only those on multiplex PSB3.

If i plug the aerial into the TV it finds all the channels and the TV reports the signal strength as 10/10.

Is anyone able to help shed some light on why i'm not getting any channels from the other multiplexes?

I've included the logs in the attached zip.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

The scan table on Debian might not be current you may need to update it based on current frequcies.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the guidance.

I've checked the scan table file for uk-CrystalPalace and the frequencies look correct based on comparison the the frequencies listed on the transmitter wiki page and the ukfree.tv website.

for testing i've create a custom scan table with the follow in.....

[C23 BBC A]
        DELIVERY_SYSTEM = DVBT
        FREQUENCY = 490000000
        BANDWIDTH_HZ = 8000000
        CODE_RATE_HP = 2/3
        CODE_RATE_LP = NONE
        MODULATION = QAM/64
        TRANSMISSION_MODE = 8K
        GUARD_INTERVAL = 1/32
        HIERARCHY = NONE
        INVERSION = AUTO

and ran dvbv5-scan on it and it didn't pick up any channels. Does this point to a tuner HW issue, aerial issue or something else?

When dvbv5-scan fails and the frequency is correct and other frequencies work I suspect signal so cable or aerial issue. It won't be NextPVR
